Elroy Claxton

Elroy Claxton is a barrister at Thomas Bingham Chambers (formed in 2013 as a result of merger of 3 leading sets of chambers: 33 Bedford Row, Old Bailey Chambers and members of Renaissance Chambers). Elroy was called to the Bar in 1983, appointed as an Assistant Recorder of the Crown Court in 1998 and as a Recorder in 2000. He is an experienced  criminal advocate with particular specialism in violent crime, sexual offences and fraud. He has been lead counsel in a number of murder and attempted murder cases in the UK and has also conducted a number of Courts Martial. Elroy is a Football Association registered lawyer.
