International Refugee Conference

Karim Khalil becomes head of One Paper Buildings

Karim who graduated from Queen's College, Cambridge was called to the Bar in 1984 and became one of the youngest Recorders in 1997, taking silk in 2003. 

Karim specialises in major crime, civil actions against the police and health and safety.

The Law Society Council elections are looming and this year seven candidates are chasing the three seats up for grabs. BLD launches Black Letter Law 2012 on 8th November 2012 at the global law firm, Baker & McKenzie. The book is sponsored for the third year in a row by The Law Society.

The  keynote speaker is the top human rights and civil liberties lawyer Saimo Chahal, partner at Bindmans LLP.
