Abimbola Olowofoyeku has been a Professor of Law at the Brunel Law School since 2000 and the former Head of the Law School. Abimbola has lectured extensively at various academic institutions in the UK and Australia since 1987. His research interests lie in the fields of comparative constitutionalism and judicialism, administrative law, and income tax law. He has, during his tenure at Brunel University, also held the posts of Head of the Department of Law (2002-2004), Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (2004) and Head of the School of Social Sciences and Law (2004-2006).

He is the author of many scholarly articles and books, including Suing Judges (Oxford University Press, 1993), and The Taxation of Income (Cambridge Academic Press, 2013).
